Achieving Secure and Efficient Dynamic Searchable Symmetric Encryption Over Medical Cloud Data
Abstract
Introduction
Achieving Secure and Efficient Dynamic Searchable Symmetric Encryption Over Medical Cloud Data Searchable Symmetric Encryption (SSE) is a cryptographic scheme that involves the ability to store encrypted information on an outsourced storage server (i.e. local or remote storage) and the information owner still maintains the ability to search the stored data without full access to the stored data by the storage server owner. The need to adopt this type of data storage has evolved from the assumption that outsourced storage servers tend to be “honest but curious” as there is the possibility for a cloud service provider to snoop for various purposes through the stored data.

Conclusion
The schemes highlighted in this paper describe different methodologies for achieving searchability over encrypted data that has been stored in a cloud. We propose an efficient searchable symmetric encryption scheme for cloud storage in this paper.
