Abstract

Fog computing is an emerging technology in the field of network services where data is transferred from one device to another to perform some kind of activity. Fog computing is an extended cloud computing concept. It works and reduces communication gaps between the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud data centers. A Three-Layer Privacy Preserving Cloud Storage Scheme Based on Computational Intelligence in Fog computing made it possible to reduce latency and low network congestion. Fog computing is an ongoing research trend in which there is the possibility of efficient network services.

Introduction

Conclusion

After analyzing various interrelated concepts, we have briefly introduced fog computing and given a more comprehensive definition of fog computing and the internet of the thing. In this paper, we discussed the fog computing architecture for the smooth functioning of a fog platform’s internet of things, advantages and challenges. We also presented a prototyping platform for fog computing design and implementation.
