Tracking of waste disposal in urban is becoming havoc.This smart city-waste-management-with-connected-trashcans paper presents IoT innovation project of a smart waste bin with real time monitoring system which integrates multiple technologies such as solar system, sensors and wireless communication technologies. The aim of this project is to provide an efficient and cost-effective waste collection management system hence providing clean, healthy and green environment. This study proposed a new framework that enables remote monitoring of solid waste bin in real-time via Wi-Fi connection, to assist the waste management activity. The system framework is based on wireless sensor network [WSN] contains three segments: renewable energy source, WSN and control station.

Conclusion
The implemented Smartcity waste Management with connected trashcans system assures the cleaning of trash cans once the garbage level reaches its maximum limit. This system also helps to monitor the fake reports and hence can reduce the corruption in the overall management system. This reduces the total number of trips of garbage collection vehicle and hence reduces the overall expenditure associated with the garbage collection. It ultimately helps to keep cleanliness in the society. Therefore, the smart garbage management system makes the garbage collection more efficient. The implemented system was tested with five iteration of alternative trash in the bins the system was found 100% accurate as it depicted exact result of the trash can under test.
