Utilization of Man Made Waste in Man-Made Structures
Abstract
Utilization Of Man Made Waste In Man-Made Structures
The main objective of this Utilization Of Man Made Waste In Man-Made Structures study is to investigate the potential use of various solid wastes for producing construction materials. The paper is based on the comprehensive review of available literature on the construction materials including different kinds of solid wastes. The traditional methods of building materials are using valuable natural resources.
Furthermore, this paper shows the applications of solid waste-based construction materials in real construction and identifies the research needs.
Conclusion
There is a tremendous scope for setting up secondary industries for recycling and using such huge quantity of solid wastes as minerals or resources in the production of construction materials.
In addition, before commercialization, the impact of solid waste on the durability performance of construction materials must be properly assessed. The performance of solid waste-based construction materials in real construction must also be evaluated before setting up secondary industries for solid waste recycling and utilization.
Good mechanical and durability performance of new products, dissemination of technologies emphasizing cost-benefit analysis, and feasibility assessment report will contribute significantly to the successful commercialization of innovative processes.
