Abstract

Study On Utilisation Of Building Materials From Demolished Structures With anytime accumulation burden on our adored resources, the building and construction industry has a analytical role to play in Environmental Stewardship .The construction industry is one of the major waste producer in all countries . Recycling and reuse of aggregates arising from construction and demolition waste may reduce the demand supply gap in construction sector.

But in accordance with waste management ,construction and demolition waste is burdening on landfill amplitude . Research plan is focussed on waste arising out of construction and demolition waste which includes concrete aggregates. There is no articular framework for appliance of these wastes which are disposed both accurately and illegally.

Conclusion

Response from the interviewees shows that on site recycling is best way to control waste and when waste minimization  is being encouraged by management  on site all other stakeholders becomes more conscience about using materials more efficiently. Contractors need to be mindful of wastage in the competitive construction sector. Therefore, construction waste minimization should be priority for all contractors. For waste minimization practice to emerge and exist, waste reduction must become important factor, with everybody taking responsibility for it, from the project manager down to subcontractors and workers on site over the all construction stages.
