Unified Fine-Grained Access Control for Personal Health Records in Cloud Computing
Abstract
Attribute-based encryption has been a promising technology for encryption in cloud computing to secure personal health records (PHRs).Unified Fine-grained Access Control for Personal Health Records in Cloud Computing PHRs consist of patient data, often collected from various sources, including hospitals and centers of general practice. Access policies for different patients have a common access sub-policy. We propose a novel attribute-based encryption scheme in this paper for fine-grained and flexible access control of cloud computing PHR data. The scheme generates shared information through the common access sub-policy based on the access policies of different patients.
Introduction
In recent years, with the rapid development of information technology and communication networks, the new technologies have been widely applied in the healthcare field. Unified Fine-grained Access Control for Personal Health Records in Cloud Computing E-health has been termed the provision of health services using information technology. Development of e-health solutions made it possible to evolve from traditional paper-based medical records to more efficient electronic health records.
Project on Unified Fine-grained Access Control for PHR issue an electronic version of patient health information. Patients can share their PHRs with medical staff for monitoring and diagnosis in an electronic medical system.
