Road Accident Analysis and Engineering Measurement in Mangalore Municipal Area
Abstract
The Road Accident Analysis And Engineering Measurement In Mangalore Municipal Area situation of road traffic accidents in India is shocking. Registers show that one death occurs every 2,75 minutes due to road traffic accidents. Road safety is compulsory to reduce accidents involving both people and vehicles there by making the road safer and more user-friendly to traffic.
The severity of the accident is increasing due to an increase in the vehicle and population. Accident leads to deactivation, death, harm to health and property, social suffering, and general environmental deprivation.
Due to the increasing population of vehicles, the number of accidents is increasing every year. To develop model road accident prediction every parameter related to the accident is considered and a micro-level road accident analysis is performed. Accident effect is identified on the basis of this analysis.
Conclusion
In this Road Accident Analysis And Engineering Measurement In Mangalore Municipal Area civil project we analysis road traffic accident (preliminary and micro level) and we predict model based on the parameters of vehicle ownership –population ratio and vehicle composition of the city. We concluded.
- During the last seven years the number of killed peoples (accident severity) of the city is increasing year to year with increasing population.
- The highest cause of the accident is fault of driver and 2W type of vehicle in the city.
- Accident is increasing with increasing of type of vehicle and population.
