Towards Privacy – Preserving Content – Based Image Retrieval in Cloud Computing

Abstract

Towards Privacy-preserving Content-based Image Retrieval in Cloud Computing(CBIR) and increase images availability, quantity and importance have been rapidly developed in our daily life. However, its severe computation and storage requirement has limited the wide deployment of the Towards Privacy – Preserving Content – Based Image Retrieval in Cloud Computing(CBIR) image retrieval applications scheme.

In this Content-based Image Retrieval paper, we propose a content-based image retrieval scheme which allows the data owner to outsource the image database and the Content-based image retrieval applications service to the cloud without revealing the actual content of the database to the cloud server.

Introduction

Towards Privacy-preserving Content-based Image Retrieval in Cloud Computing Massive images are generated and distributed with the rapid development of Multimedia and the Internet, and how to efficiently store and share such a large amount of data becomes an important issue.

Because of its tremendous advantages such as on-demand self-service, ubiquitous network access, location-independent resource pooling, rapid resource elasticity, usage-based pricing, and risk transfer, it is a natural solution to outsource images in cloud service.

Towards Privacy-preserving Content-based Image Retrieval in Cloud Computing(CBIR), which involves the extraction of visual features from image and the search for similar images in the visual feature space, has grown rapidly in recent years.
