Identity-Based Private Matching Over Outsourced Encrypted Datasets

Abstract

In this paper, we focus on the issue of private matching in identity-based cryptosystem over outsourced encrypted datasets that can simplify certificate management. Identity-Based Private Matching over Outsourced Encrypted Datasets To solve this problem, we propose an Identity-Based Private Matching (IBPM), which realizes fine-grained authorization that allows the privileged cloud server to perform private matching operations without leaking any private data. Under the Decisional Linear Assumption and Decisional Bilinear Diffie-Hellman Assumption, we present the rigorous security evidence.

Introduction

Identity-Based Private Matching Over Outsourced Encrypted Datasets Cloud computing refers to the use of computing resources, such as programming or equipment that resides on a re-mote machine and is transmitted to the end client as a service over a system, the most common example being the web. Cloud storage is growing very rapidly in popularity and importance.
The encryption technique or the combination of identity’s is used to securely share data. The identity-based encryption (IBE) is an important primitive of ID-based cryptography. As such, it is a kind of public-key encryption in which a user’s public key is multiple unique user identity information (e.g. email address of a user).
This means that a sender that has access to the system’s public parameters can encrypt a message using e.g. the text value of the receiver’s email address as a key. The receiver gets its decryption key from a central authority, which needs to be trusted as it generates secret keys for each user. It allows any party to produce a public key from a recognized value of identity. The Private Key Generator (PKG) is the corresponding private keys generated by a trusted third party.
