
Genetic-Based Algorithms Applied to a Workflow Scheduling Algorithm with Security and Deadline Constraints in Clouds
Abstract
This Genetic-based algorithms applied to a workflow scheduling algorithm with security and deadline constraints in clouds paper examines the effect on attempts to optimize workflow scheduling of both Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Genetic-based Algorithms (GA). The findings indicate that GA-based algorithms significantly outperformed PSO both in terms of cost-effectiveness and response time.

Conclusion
Cloud infrastructure can support large-scale business applications with the emergence of cloud technology. Workflow systems are designed to provide this property. In the cloud environment, resource scheduling and management is complex in structure. So cloud requires sophisticated tools to analyze different scheduling algorithms so that we can apply them to real environment. In this paper, we reviewed workflow scheduling algorithms and formed a table based on the algorithm used, considered parameter, explanation and development environment.
