Investment Awareness in Financial Asset and Preference of Financial Intermediaries in Equities Trading
Introduction
Investment awareness in financial asset & intermediaries in equities trading mba finance project is an activity of putting money in an instrument for the purpose of getting a good return on the investment and for the growth of the principle amount. The classical theory of portfolio selection is based on strong assumptions: no transaction costs, the consciousness of investors about the full menu of available assets and their risk and return experience, no insuperable risks, such as human capital. If all investors face the same distribution of returns and have the same set of information, they choose the same menu of risky assets in equilibrium. Differences in risk attitudes affect capital distribution between safe and risky assets, but not the selected asset. And if there is a constant relative risk aversion of the utility function, asset shares are independent of assets. The portfolio of the rich man is essentially a scaled-up version of that of the poor man under these assumptions. Nonetheless, recent empirical studies have shown that household portfolios are far too heterogeneous to comply with this sort of uniformity.
There are a large number of investment instruments available to the investors like bank deposits, forex, mutual funds, derivatives, commodities, insurance, shares, govt. securities, corporate bonds, gold, real estate etc.Investors invest their money in these instruments for getting good returns and the money invested in turn helps in the growth of the economy.
